Psychosis- Mental health stigma and passion for writing and advice

 I was diagnosed with psychosis and I had been struggling with it lately and writing had always been my refuge and support. 

But my professor’s words had  hurted  me.

The conversation happened yesterday. 

My professor asked me, “ why would you prefer to write?”

I answered, “ writing had always healed me, ma’am .”
